Mailhot telescopic cylinders stand out for their exceptional durability due to the salt bath nitriding process in their manufacture. Mailhot is the only North American company to nitride the tubes in the telescopic cylinders it manufactures. Mailhot's telescopic cylinders offer different designs to suit various applications. Innovations have been developed according to the application sector to differentiate the Mailhot product from the competition.

Single stage cylinders designed and manufactured by Mailhot are used in a wide range of different applications. Mailhot single stage cylinders are developed in collaboration with the customer in order to optimize the design according to the application. Hydraulic cylinders can be single- or double-action.

GARBAGE TRUCKS

Maihot Industries offers cylinders designed specifically to withstand the severe environment of waste removal applications. We have developed shaver technology with this specific application in mind. Our patented shaver feature protects the cylinder as well as the hydraulic system from contaminants. The shaver technology is available in both single stage and telescopic cylinders installed on various waste collection trucks, whether front loading, rear loading or side loading.

VACUUM AND ROOL-OFF TRUCKS AND TRAILERS

Mailhot Industries manufactures single stage as well as telescopic cylinders for roll-off trucks and trailers. These cylinders are salt bath nitrided using our ARCOR process which provides them with superior resistance to wear and corrosion.

CS SERIES : CS Series telescopic cylinders are known in many countries for their exceptional quality and reliability. Our patented salt bath nitriding process, ARCOR provides an edge on the competition.

MH SERIES : MH Series are single stage cylinders manufactured for a wide range of applications. Mailhot Industries works hand in hand with the customer to optimize the design and performance of the end product.

 

DUMP TRUCKS AND TRAILERS

It was 60 years ago that Mailhot Industries started manufacturing cylinders for this application. Many generations of designs and features later and we are still innovating with our G2 Series and G3 Series specifically made for dump trucks and trailers. These new products were introduced in 2013.

G2 SERIES : The G2 Series with pin to pin attachment are designed with greater efficiency in mind, with a higher capacity to speed ratio. The tube diameters used in these cylinders were chosen to optimize cycle speed without impacting load capacity, while reducing oil consumption.

G3 SERIES : The G3 Series is a trunnion mounted telescopic cylinder with cover designed with greater efficiency in mind, with a high capacity to speed ratio. The tube diameters used in these cylinders were chosen to optimize cycle speed without impacting load capacity, while reducing oil consumption.

 

STATIONARY COMPACTORS

Mailhot Industries offers its patented shaver technology on cylinders designed for stationary compactors. This feature protects the cylinder as well as the hydraulic system from contamination and the resulting damage from the presence of foreign materials.

SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT

Mailhot Industries has developed a line of cylinders specifically made for snow removal equipment. Since severe corrosion and wear protection is required on these products, each cylinder undergoes a special configuration called NCERA. This configuration applies to both single stage or telescopic cylinders.
