After announcing a major $2 million investment in new machinery to reinforce automation initiatives within the plant, the Chambre de commerce du Grand Joliette honoured the company by naming them Personality of the Month for February. 

Recognition that is more than appreciated  

APF Villeneuve is running for Personality of the Year at the Excelsiors 2025 Gala in recognition of their outstanding achievements and earning the title of Personality of the Month in February. 

This is not the company’s first nomination and award. Indeed, 10 years ago, APF Villeneuve won an award in the Industrial and Manufacturing category, in addition to a nomination in 2018 for the same category! 

“This award from my peers is further proof that we are making the right choices and moving in the right direction,” states APF Villeneuve President Érick Villeneuve. He adds, “I am deeply happy and touched by this recognition.”  

As president of Alliance Métal Québec, a non-profit organization promoting synergies among metal processing companies, Érick Villeneuve had a front-row seat when the organization was honoured in 2019 in the Institution, Organization, Initiative category.  

The Excelsiors evening has been established for nearly 40 years in the Lanaudière region and is a major honorary event in the greater Joliette area.  

Launched in 1986 by the Chambre de commerce du Grand Joliette, this renowned celebration spotlights the entrepreneurial achievements of local businesses in several categories, with winners nominated and selected by an external jury and honoured during a prestigious evening of festivities.
